Hi! I'm Carla, from Valencia, Spain. And I've spent the last 6 years helping students like you master Spanish, from beginner to intermediate levels (A0-B1). ✦ I only teach levels A0-B1 (both included). ✦ My lessons AREN'T geared toward exam preparation. ✦ Only +18-year-old students. 🗣️ As a fluent polyglot (Spanish, Catalan, English, French, and learning German), I understand firsthand the challenges of language learning. 🎖️Certified by the renowned Instituto Cervantes, I'm equipped to teach all levels (A1-C2) and provide expert guidance. 🎓 Bachelor's and Master's Degrees: My ACADEMIC BACKGROUND IN LINGUISTICS AND TRANSLATION provides a solid foundation for my teaching practice. 🗺️ Global Experience: Having traveled to +30 countries, most of them as a digital nomad while working remotely as an audiovisual translator a few years ago, I bring a diverse perspective to my lessons. Also, for the past 8 years, I’ve translated dubbing scripts and subtitles into Spanish for Netflix movies and TV shows. And now I am more focused on teaching.

✔️ STRUCTURED LESSONS Lessons are structured to ensure you build a solid language base. Each lesson is carefully prepared to address your specific needs and areas of improvement by combining different materials, even if you start from scratch. I include grammar and new vocabulary topics in every lesson, as well as guided conversation practice with feedback and tips to improve. My classes are not aimed at passing exams but at helping you to communicate with native speakers and understand them. ✔️ Engaging MATERIALS I will provide all the necessary materials and resources. I use a shared document like Google Docs (but better) for taking notes together where you'll have all the material and resources available for every lesson. My material is quite visual and, for very beginner levels, I include the explanations in English too.
