As an experienced English tutor with a degree in Child and Youth Care and a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language. I am well versed in learning and how difficult it can be to learn a new language. Language is like a muscle the less you use it, the more you lose it. I want to help you exercise that muscle so so your English is as strong as it can be. I have mostly taught online and have taught lessons in person in Canada and in Japan. I have taught students of various ages and skill levels. I have been teaching English for the past 6 years and I taught students with many different goals. Some wanted to focus on speaking, while others focused on test preparation. Whatever your goal is I want to help you reach it. My classes mostly focus on free speaking while delving into topics in order to get you speak outside of your comfort zone. I feel that language is best used naturally and improves the most when we are not pressured into learning. If you are learning for yourself and because you want to that is when you are going to improve the most. When you are studying for other reasons your improvement will be minimal.
