Experienced tutor helping for grade improvement

Hi there, my name is Nadia...i have been a teacherfor over 20 years specializing in elementary and primary education but I also teach intermediates and seniors as well. I have a Masters in Education along wit my specialization in ESL and Special Education. I also teach French.i can speak give languages : Italian, French, Spanish , Portuguese and English . I have lots of experience working with special needs students. I am adept at programming student learning according to their learning styles and making all necessary accommodations and modifications so that they can be successful. I am a compassionate teacher who likes to plan fun and engaging lessons so that students find their learning to be purposeful and meaningful. I believe that every student can be successful with right supports in place. Aside from teaching I have 2 beautiful dogs.

I use a variety of resources including technology and literature, games and cooperative learning so that students feel engaged.i believe that teaching should reflect student voice and student choice. I believe in making meaningful connections tions with my students and providing ongoing feedback for their families. I believe that homework has a purpose not only to extend learning at home but also serves as an important way to reinforce critical skills and concepts.i welcome all students at the table and honor their lived experiences. I am an adovocaye for student learning and for students to be successful and independent thinkers..I want students to be competing and to be prepared for 20th century learning.
