Hello! I’m Charu, an experienced Economics educator with a passion for making the subject come alive for my students. My journey in education began with my B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Delhi University, one of India’s most prestigious institutions, followed by a Master’s degree in Economics. Over the past 15+ years, I have been teaching in a well-known international CBSE school, working with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. I use visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, mind maps, and charts to help students visualize abstract ideas and remember them more effectively. To connect theory with reality, I integrate current economic events, data from credible sources, and case studies so students can see how the concepts they study apply to real-world situations . Each lesson follows a structured plan with a clear objective, step-by-step concept building, and a recap at the end to reinforce learning. I encourage active participation by asking questions, prompting discussions, and using problem-solving activities so students remain engaged and confident in expressing their thoughts. For online teaching, I make use of interactive tools like Zoom whiteboards, Google Classroom, quizzes, and shared documents to create an engaging virtual environment. I personalize my pace and depth of explanation according to each student’s needs, offering additional practice exercises and past paper solutions to strengthen exam preparation.
