As an English Teacher and former ESL Tutor, with a degree in Secondary Education major in English, I specialize in making English a language that is fun and beneficial for each student to learn. My expertise lies in English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and more. But apart from those technicalities, my main goal as an English teacher is to help students express themselves freely using the English language and be confident in using the language. In my previous teaching experiences, most of my students are too hesitant to express themselves using English as the medium of communicating, I ensure them that my English class is a venue for them to learn and to improve. I'm looking forward to help more students through this new journey that I want to embark and help students unlock their full potential and confidence in English!

English classes quick guide
My teaching approach mainly varies on my students as long as it's engaging and interactive for my students. For ages 3-7: I focus on familiarizing the students in the alphabet and their sound. Once they were able to master the alphabet, I proceed with reading some simple words sound by sound, letting them understand how to read those simple words. I then proceed to do some simple sentences. In that way, I can introduce simple sentences to them. All of the said strategies are mixed with games to make it more interactive and interesting for them. For ages 8-12: In this age bracket, since students at this age can now read and understand simple sentences, I introduce them to new words or vocabularies that can help them expand their vocabulary awareness. Still mixing these strategies with games to make it more interactive and instill learning. For ages 13-17: In this age, aside from continuous vocabulary lessons, I also provide reading materials in which I encourage them to understand the passage/material. I am now instilling reading comprehension on this age group since they should be aware of most English words and can create sentences by now. The games are lessened, but still interactive and now require their own opinions in doing activities. For ages 18 above: I am now mostly doing conversational English in which I prepare sets of questions for them to answer. I would strictly implement the 'English only' policy so that they would get used to using the language since most of them are now attending universities or even working and some of their workplace or schools are requiring them to speak using English. I would correct their grammar if there are any mistakes and would suggests other terms that they can use in the conversation English.
