As an experienced online tutor with a Master's Degree in Education, I provide custom tutoring for any type of students. I have worked with children as young as 4, teaching them to read with games and fun activities, I have taught in middle schools and high schools, I have tutored elementary students in all subjects, and I have helped adults learn to read and write. I have taught online virtual classes and provided tutoring and homework help online for the past 5 years. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing students understand something they have been struggling with, or develop a new or improved skill. I enjoy each class that I teach, and I custom classes and tutoring sessions so that students enjoy them as well. Whether an adult needs to learn a certain type of vocabulary, a high schooler needs to write an essay about a book they are reading, or a younger student needs to improve their reading skills, I provide a stress-free environment that focuses on learning and fun.

I use a variety of teaching methods, focusing on which learning style seems to work best for each student. I plan lessons with flexibility in mind, so adjustments can be made to optimize learning. I also include a variety of activities in each lesson, so students don't spend the entire time doing the same thing. Students may write, listen, read, draw, or use online manipulatives, depending on what they need to achieve. I include materials that tailor to students' interests, so they can learn to read, write, speak, or listen better while using materials they are interested in. For students who have to use certain materials, such as students writing an essay, I make the writing process as pleasant as possible, and use the student's learning style to cater our approach to the assignment. I do not generally use generic lessons, because I want each class to be specifically designed for the student.
