Your english tutor - Delfina
When teaching English I enjoy conversation classes a lot as they allow me to learn a lot about other cultures and different people from around the world. I have been lucky to have students who have worked with me for several years. Also I often end up teaching more than one member of the family in whjich I have students. Although English is my mother tongue / first language I prefer French! However English can be fun and the history and literature and cultures of English speaking countries is really interesting too. My accent is very varied, it has characteristics of Southern Africa and of England, however it is very easy to understand me when I am speaking. I mostly use British English however I do know a lot of American English which I can explain to students. I hope to be working with you for English very soon and to explore your culture.

English classes quick guide
I have many different methodologies, many I have adapted and created myself to help students. I mostly create methods or approaches for individual students as I go along. My training for teaching English as a Foreign Language is the communicative approach where we do activities and use role plays, pictures, gestures and non traditional ways of learning and teaching in the classroom. This can also work online in different ways. I also use traditional methodology - books and exercises for language as I have training in these methods too. For conversation I either use texts to springboard into the lesson or I go according to the student, what they want to talk about that day or experiences they have recently had. I take notes and give the notes to the student after the lesson so that they can develop and correct errors and so on. Fun English!
