I achieved grade 8 in my English Literature GCSE, and grade A at A-Level. I am now working towards my Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and History! I have loved English Literature from a young age, studying it for over 17 years and engaging with a varitety of literary forms and concepts that I can’t wait to introduce you to! I focus on GCSE and A Level students of any age, but will work with students of any age who are interested in the critical reading of English Literature I focus on analytical, literature-based learning allowing you to focus on key themes, concepts and content to embellish your test answers and get them to the standard you’re looking for! My approach includes interactive discussions, close reading and analytical excercises as well as structured essay feedback and assistance on homework, coursework etc. I endeavour to foster a love for English Literature in my students that will allow them to think critically in all areas of their life, not just academically or in an exam situation. I am a firm believer that everyone should be reading, and I aim to encourage an analytical perspective and appreciation of English Literature through a holistic and personalised method of teaching.
