Hi everyone, my name is Colson and I am an English teacher from Toronto, Canada, currently living in the beautiful city of Warsaw, Poland. I have been teaching English for over three years, and during that time I have worked with students from all over the world, both online and in person. My experience includes private one-to-one lessons, small group classes, and larger classroom environments. This variety has taught me how important it is to adapt each lesson to the unique needs and learning styles of every student. My teaching style combines clear explanations with plenty of speaking practice and real-life examples. I enjoy bringing authentic topics into our lessons, from current events and global news to cultural traditions, travel, history, or everyday conversations. I believe that the more interesting the topic, the more memorable the language will be. If you enjoy what you are learning, it becomes much easier to stay motivated and make progress. As a Canadian, I am always happy to share insights about life in Canada, including cultural differences, everyday language, or even little-known facts about my country. I also understand the challenges of learning a language because I have been working on my Polish. I know how it feels to be unsure or to make mistakes, but I also know how satisfying it is to finally express yourself and understand more than you expected.
