English Tutor at Varsity College | Writing, Reading, Grammar Skills

Hi , my name is Jessica Alport and I am an English tutor , with over three years experience. I will personalise each lesson to my students goals and needs. I am specialising in grammar , listening reading and many more. I teach all levels from beginners , school students , adults and kids. I like to focus my lessons on listening skills, real world applications , speaking practice and many more. I have got you covered with any needs you have with your lessons or aims. I can also help with homework or assignment help or test preparation. I have got over three years teaching experience. I want to make sure my students feel safe , heard and understood in my lessons. I also want my lessons to be fun and encouraging . I will try my best to make sure my students are learning effectively using visual learning , conversational learning or any other method that will help my students.

In the classroom, it will be centered around reading skills, speaking practices, discussions and many more. I specialise in a variety of English teaching subjects and these include, spelling, reading , English literature, listening , grammar and more. I like to use Google classroom, Zoom and other online resources. I follow a curriculum that is structed. This curriculum will benefit the needs, goals and aims at helping as well as supporting my students. This structured curriculum has helped over 100 students from different levels of English. From school kids, beginners , adults and children. My classroom environment encourages a supporting , engaging and safe environment where students are able to express themselves without feeling judged. I also want my students to understand concepts well and be great in their language skills.
