I specialize in English, Social Sciences, Math, and Coaching for students, primarily adolescents but am willing to work with all. I have 3 years of expertise in tutoring. I take a more relaxed approach to learning and try to make learning more fun. We will crack jokes, do games, talk with one another, do interactive activities, and really integrate ourselves with the content. I often find students are overwhelmed with their content and find themselves lacking not only in the skills to do the work, but the self-confidence and drive to do the work. By integrating this relaxed environment, I empower the student to recognize their worth and allow them to strive to do better in their classes. As far as coaching goes, we create a welcoming atmosphere which is trauma-informed and allows for the client to immerse themselves in the realm of teaching. We work to incorporate grounding techniques, development skills, and knowledge in their mental and physical health.
