Ishu - Know your tutor
I have completed my graduation and postgraduation from University of Delhi. I have qualified various National level exams like CSIR NET, GATE, JEST, HTET & CTET. I have an experience of 6 years in teaching profession. For the first two years, i have worked for the post of Assistant Professor also. I do consider myself strategic thinking, explaining things by relating real life applications & solve them mathematically. I do have knowledge of MS word, Powerpoint, excel. I have tutored almost 400+ students and prepared many students for board and entrance exams as well as guided in course completion.

Class overview
My tutoring sessions on Physics and Maths both begin from the meaning of topic , moving towards real life application then mathematical approach to that problem and discussion by engaging students in discussion and putting forward their doubts. Session ends with homework in form of assignments, worksheet. I also assist the students with their assignments and exam preparation.

Mathematics concepts taught by Ishu
The session covered projectile motion, including its definition, assumptions (ignoring air resistance), and the role of gravity. The Student learned about trajectory, range, maximum height, and time of flight. The Tutor introduced and explained how to adapt the three equations of motion for both horizontal and vertical components of projectile motion and discussed related formulas.
Key Terms: Range
Maximum Height
and Time of Flight
Equations of Motion in Projectile Motion
Circular Motion: Centripetal Force
Relative Velocities and Pythagorean Theorem
Assumptions in Projectile Motion
Projectile Motion
The student learned about the distance formula and its application in coordinate geometry. The student practiced calculating the distance between two points using the formula and worked through a series of practice problems. Additional practice problems were assigned via email for continued reinforcement.
Distance Formula
Applying the Distance Formula with Negative Coordinates
Coordinate Representation
The Student and Tutor practiced adding and subtracting fractions with differing denominators. The session focused on finding the least common multiple (LCM) and using it to correctly calculate numerators. Additional practice problems were assigned, and the next session was scheduled.
Fractions: Simplifying Fractions
Fractions: Adjusting Numerators After Finding LCM
Fractions: Finding the Least Common Multiple (LCM)
Order of Operations (PEMDAS/BODMAS)
The student practiced solving systems of linear equations using elimination and substitution and worked on word problems related to these concepts. They also reviewed solving quadratic equations using the quadratic formula. The next session will include a review of the student's test paper and further work on matrix algebra and basic geometry.
Fractions in Solving Systems of Equations
Coefficient Manipulation for Variable Elimination
Applying the Quadratic Formula
Substitution Method
Solving Systems of Linear Equations by Elimination
The Tutor guided the Student through solving quadratic equations using the quadratic formula and discriminant. The Student practiced these skills, working on several example problems and receiving feedback on their solutions. Additionally, the class covered solving systems of linear equations with two variables using elimination and framing equations from word problems, with more practice planned for the next session.
Discriminant: Nature of Roots
Quadratic Equations: General Form
Quadratic Formula: Finding Roots
Solving Systems of Linear Equations: Elimination Method
Word Problems: Translating to Equations
The Student learned about properties of exponents and practiced simplifying expressions using these rules. The session also covered solving inequalities, focusing on how the inequality sign changes when multiplying or dividing by a negative number. The Tutor assigned additional practice problems which will be reviewed in the next session.
