English Tutor at Ca' Foscari University | Language Skills Development

I'm a going-to-be graduated university student of Southeast Asian languages. I'm very passionate about getting acquainted with new cultures and languages and I would be glad to share this interest of mine through teaching lessons. I reckon that conversation is an essential skill for those who are willing to become fluent in a foreign language, therefore conversation classes could also be a good option if you are a newbie. I could enhance my speaking skills especially during my training project as a front office assistant at Sheraton Brussels Airport Hotel, which I concluded last year. This experience taught me a lot as I got the chance of working nearby Brussels main airport, where people from all around the globe came and go at all times. Although English is the subject I could help with the most, I would also stay available to teach Vietnamese for beginners (A1/A2 level).

My way of teaching is very simple: depending on what skill and language you are most interested in ameliorating, we can use different materials that both you and I can procure, and after viewing and trying to understand exercises and topics, we can discuss about it and play games/find different ways that fit the best for you. If you never got the opportunity of challenging yourself before, there is nothing to worry about because I would love to help you making the first step in this journey. The best way to achieve these skills would be focusing on interaction rather than just following a textbook that can still be of use, but it doesn't need to be the main material in order to learn. Lessons will exclusively be held online, including mobile learning. We can pick a time that fits for both of us; late morning to midnight (night hours could also be fine if requested).
