Empathetic Piano lessons with patient problem solving focus

Hiu Fu Chan is a passionate pianist who believes music can bring joy to everyone. She began piano lessons in Hong Kong at the age of seven, and received her ATCL Recital in Piano with Merit in Australia when she was eighteen. Hiu Fu is currently studying Master of Arts in Music at Hong Kong Baptist University, which includes extensive studies in early childhood education and piano pedagogy. Hiu Fu has studied with Polish pianist Christine Faron privately, when she was doing her Bachelor degree at the Australian National University in 2011. Under the tutorship of Ms Faron, Hiu Fu learnt the advanced skills for playing large pieces and did a few recitals in her studio in Canberra. At the Australian National University, Hiu Fu studied piano performance courses, acquired essential music skills and received distinction in her recitals. She was also a freelance piano teacher for two music tuitions, which were Canberra Music Tuition and Bellchambers Music School. She gave piano lessons to students whose aged from 5-year old children to retired adults. Students of Hiu Fu were motivated and enjoyed learning music with her, and attained high scores in ABRSM exams.
