Engineering class overview

My teaching methodology revolves around clarity, engagement, and adaptability: 1> Clarity: I aim to explain concepts in a straightforward manner, breaking down complex ideas into simpler parts. Clear communication ensures that the learner understands the fundamental principles before moving on to more advanced topics. 2> Engagement: Learning is most effective when it’s engaging and interactive. I use examples, analogies, and practical applications to make the material relatable and interesting. Questions and discussions are encouraged to stimulate critical thinking and deepen understanding. 3> Adaptability: Recognizing that every learner is unique, I adapt my teaching approach to suit different learning styles and paces. Whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, I strive to present information in ways that resonate with each individual. 4> Feedback: Continuous assessment and feedback are crucial for improvement. I provide opportunities for learners to demonstrate their understanding through exercises, quizzes, or projects, and I use feedback to adjust my teaching methods as necessary. 5> Real-World Connections: Whenever possible, I link theoretical concepts to real-world applications. This not only enhances understanding but also demonstrates the relevance and practicality of the knowledge being gained. 6> Encouragement and Support: Learning can be challenging, so I create a supportive environment where learners feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Positive reinforcement and constructive feedback foster confidence and motivation. Overall, my goal is to empower learners to not only grasp the subject matter but also to develop critical thinking skills and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.

Engineering concept taught by Er

Fadi learned about 1 month ago

Lesson date:

Rajendra taught Fadi AC circuit analysis, covering impedance, admittance, and frequency domain transformations of circuit elements. They analyzed purely resistive, inductive, and capacitive circuits, then moved on to RL and RC circuits, solving numerical problems and using phasor diagrams. They plan to cover node analysis next session.

Fadi learned about 1 month ago

Lesson date:

Rajendra tutored Fadi on AC circuit concepts, including AC vs. DC circuits, sinusoidal waveforms, and phasor representation. Fadi practiced finding phase differences, converting between sine/cosine functions, and converting between rectangular and polar forms. They will continue with impedance, admittance, node analysis, and three-phase circuits in the next session.

Joshua learned about 1 month ago

Lesson date:

Rajendra assisted Joshua (and Josh Colley) in a Wiingy session by reviewing his electrical engineering assignment. The session involved problems related to series/parallel resistors, calculating equivalent resistance, and applying Ohm's Law. Rajendra confirmed the correctness of Joshua's solutions.
