Hi! I am Gastón Soustiel from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been teaching guitar for +8 years and studying for over 17 years (it never ends fortunately!). I also studied Singing and Drums. Though my main genre is Rock, I like a lot of different styles which we can cover in the lessons such as Pop, Blues, Soul, Funk, Tango, Reggae, Metal, a little bit of Jazz too. Regarding my lessons I always adapt them to the student's needs, objectives, lifestyle and music taste. The main goal is to cover both the Melodic and the Harmonic sides of the instrument while learning songs you like and choose. For the first one we would study scales and learn from simple melodies to more complex solos. And for the latter one we would start from the very basic chords and quickly move to learning simple songs and then more complex ones. Also we will be learning different arpegio techniques. All of it with finger and pick techniques. I strongly suggest to dig a little into music theory for a better understanding of what we are playing but we can skip that part if you are not interested in it. Don't worry, the idea is to keep if fun! Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned musician, I cater all levels. If you are a total beginner who's thinking about starting to learn, rest assured that you will be able to learn. I believe everybody can. I myself was actually afraid of starting something that was so new to me. I would love to help you on your musical journey, you will not regret it!
