During a recent vocal lesson, a coach and a student from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro discussed vocal techniques, including attack, vocal profiling, and fry vocaling. The student practiced exercises to improve their attack and diction and received homework to analyze five songs from different genres, focusing on vocal profiles. They also discussed incorporating fry vocaling into a performance of "Born on the Bayou."
