Emily - Know your english tutor
I currently tutor in ESL and Spanish. I am deeply passionate about languages and literature, especially Spanish and English. I am also very interested in history, culture, art, and social studies. I am confident I can foster good studying skills and confidence in my students. I hope to have the opportunity to help you learn! I have a CELTA certification from Cambridge University to teach English as a Second Language. I have taught English to native Spanish speakers in Ecuador for about 8 years. I also have experience teaching English to other language groups online. I have a C2 level of proficiency in Spanish with seven years or more of experience living abroad in Quito, Ecuador. I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Michigan State University. While studying Spanish in high school and in college I was awarded several honors in regards to my Spanish language studies and abilities. As well, I also graduated from MSU with honors, a 3.7 GPA, and an Outstanding Student in Spanish Award. If you would like to learn from someone who has had the chance to see and live in another part of the world, I would love to be your tutor. I will make sure my time tutoring will provide students with applicable advice and knowledge in their studies now and in the future (whether in the U.S. or in another country).
