Engaging Data Analysis tutor with collaborative, supportive lessons

Hi, I am Ivy McLeod. I am a Computer Science major with 4+ years of teaching experience. I am adept at teaching Power BI, Data Analysis, Excel, Databases, DB2, and Python. I have been fascinated by computers and data for a very long time which led me to this field. I have been working in this field for a long time and hence, have gained hands-on experience. I have developed 50 reports and dashboards increasing operational efficiency. These experiences help me teach the students better. I have good communication skills and I am very patient with the students. I make them feel comfortable so that they can learn without any judgment. I love to share my knowledge and help as many students as possible. When I am not teaching, you will either find me playing with my dog or listening to music. Listening to music calms me after a hectic day or when I am feeling low.

My sessions are tailor-made according to the requirements of the student. I try getting to know the students and their expectations, then design the plan accordingly. I use practical examples, podcasts, videos, etc to make it fun and interesting. I help them analyze and give them different points of view. This broadens their horizon of thinking. I break down complex concepts into simple terms for their understanding. I regularly assess them to make them feel comfortable with the topics. I also give and take feedback so that both parties can improve or change their methods if need be.
