About your music teacher
Hi! My name is Joseph. I've been a guitar/music teacher/ metal instructor for several years now. I've taught from ages 8 to 60+. Mostly teach a wide range of great fundamentals to help build your own style of playing and to build structure and confidence. Have taught mostly metal but I have experience in multiple genres of music from country, pop, rock, a little bluegrass, blues, classical and shred style from many metal sub-genres. I found my passion for teaching when I taught most of my family members and realized how much I love teaching. I have played in multiple bands and toured all around the country playing at venues. I've also recorded many tracks from solos to full songs in music production. I will help build your understanding of music theory and practical as well as mechanical applications. These are the things that I use daily in my guitar career. I hope that I'm able to help you on your musical journey

Music concepts taught by Joseph
The Student and Tutor reviewed the A minor pentatonic scale's first position and its theoretical significance in music. They then practiced guitar tuning using an online tuner, troubleshooting various string adjustments. The Tutor introduced metronome practice at 60 BPM, differentiating between quarter and eighth notes, and assigned daily pentatonic scale practice as homework.
