Interactive AP Calculus & Statistics lessons with problem solving focus

I have a masters in applied mathematics which requires a published thesis paper. I have 10+ years in teaching students fresh out of high school as well as adults looking to again enter school. I've been learning and/or teaching maths every year since starting in elementary school with the basics of counting. It is a subject I have a great appreciation for and I enjoy helping others develop understanding not only of application, but mysteries and oddities that can only be recognized when basics are understood.

I offer my time to students in both high schoolers and college students. I'm often asking students questions to look into how they think about their work. Students often look to memorize "what" to do, I wish to focus on "why" things are done the way they are. When a method is understood rather than memorized, it is often easier to remember and apply.
