AP Calculus & Statistics lessons with hands-on problem solving

I am currently enrolled as a freshman at the University of Texas at Austin. I have successfully completed numerous AP Exams, achieving a score of 5 on Physics C Mechanics, Physics C E&M, Chemistry, Biology, Calculus BC, Statistics, in addition to attaining a perfect 800 score in the math section of the SAT. My journey in tutoring began when I took the AP Calculus BC exam during my sophomore year of high school. Since then, I have been assisting my teacher in mentoring numerous students to excel and achieve a score of 5 on various AP Exams.

As a tutor, my philosophy revolves around fostering comprehension for achievement. I strongly oppose the rote memorization of formulas and equations imposed on students. I advocate for understanding the concepts deeply, enabling students to recreate them spontaneously and apply their knowledge effectively during tests. Studying and practicing should focus solely on understanding and preparing for tests. By analyzing past questions comprehensively, we can anticipate and effectively answer future test questions even before the test begins. This approach ensures that students develop a solid grasp of the subject matter and perform well in assessments.
