I am Preety Pandey, a PhD in Economics, with a strong passion for teaching and simplifying complex economic concepts for learners from diverse backgrounds. Since 2017, I have been actively engaged in teaching economics, working with students at different academic levels, and helping them build a solid conceptual foundation. Over the years, I have realized that economics is often perceived as a difficult and abstract subject, mainly because it is taught in a highly theoretical manner without connecting it to real-life situations. My teaching philosophy revolves around breaking this barrier by making economics relatable, practical, and easy to understand. Currently, I am based in Berlin, where I am working as a Project Lead at the World Forum. This role has further strengthened my ability to connect academic knowledge with real-world policy discussions, global economic challenges, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Being part of an international environment has given me exposure to diverse perspectives, which I bring into my teaching approach to make learning more dynamic and globally relevant. My core strength lies in conceptual teaching. I strongly believe that once the fundamentals are clear, students can independently apply their knowledge to solve even the most complex problems. Instead of encouraging rote learning, I focus on developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and curiosity among learners. I use simple language, practical examples, and interactive methods to explain concepts such as demand and supply, inflation, fiscal policy, and international trade.
