Mathematics is not everyone cup of coffee and I consider myself to be blessed as I have been teaching this particular subject to students from the last 11-12years. In general, students also Students hesitate in doing this particular subject. Taking about my qualification, I have done Bachelors in Non-medical and masters in mathematics from a renowned university. I have great interest in science, especially mathematics as it is all about dealing with numbers. Professionally I have taught in a college as an Associate professor and currently working as a freelancer tutor, helping students in making them understand different concepts of mathematics, clearing their doubts. So far, I am making all the possible efforts to increase students inclination towards mathematics

Teaching methodology
Mathematics is not a theoretical subject, so sometimes I make use of power point presentations and videos to explain a particular concept. As I believe visuals have more impactful, and this aid in better understanding than listening. Moreover, I plan my sessions keeping in mind a student's requirements and targets. Some students require more practise and more attention towards certain topics, so sessions are planned according to their pace. My priority is to have an interactive session in which a student asks multiple questions , clears one’s doubts . This ensures that pupil is able to understand in a better way. Also, I make sure that a student gets proper attention and is willing to learn more. My main teaching methodology is to increase students inclination towards this subject and remove their fear of mathematics. Apart from this, I am also helping students in completing their assignments and homework. They are able to complete their work assessments within the given time period

AP concepts taught by Prangna
The session covered solving quadratic equations using the quadratic formula, factoring, completing the square, and the square root principle. The Student practiced applying these methods to various problems, with a focus on correct sign usage and simplification. The Tutor provided guidance and reviewed common mistakes to avoid, and they went over multiple practice questions.
Quadratic Formula
Factoring Quadratic Equations
Completing the Square
Square Root Principle
No Real Solutions
The Student and Tutor reviewed area and perimeter calculations for circles, triangles, rectangles, and parallelograms. The Student practiced applying the relevant formulas and focused on remembering to calculate the radius from the diameter when working with circles. The next session will cover new topics and address any homework questions.
Area of a Triangle
Area of a Parallelogram
Perimeter and Area of a Rectangle
Relationship Between Diameter and Radius
Area and Circumference of a Circle
The Tutor and Student practiced arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication) with a focus on shortcuts and problem-solving. They also reviewed 2D and 3D shapes and properties, as well as calendar concepts like months and leap years. There was no specific homework assigned, but the Tutor encouraged the Student to remember key facts.

The Student reviewed the properties of circles, including radius, diameter, circumference, and area, and practiced related calculations. The lesson further covered triangles, focusing on calculating the area using the base and height. The Student and Tutor scheduled a follow-up session to review homework problems and to cover squares and rectangles.

Area of a Circle
Circumference of a Circle
Relationship between Radius and Diameter
The Student and Tutor practiced graphing parabolas, including finding the vertex, x and y intercepts, and determining the direction of opening. They worked through several examples from a worksheet, including graphing parabolic inequalities and determining the shaded region. The session clarified the relationship between the equation's form and the parabola's key features.
