Prangna - About your AP tutor
Mathematics is not everyone cup of coffee and I consider myself to be blessed as I have been teaching this particular subject to students from the last 11-12years. In general, students also Students hesitate in doing this particular subject. Taking about my qualification, I have done Bachelors in Non-medical and masters in mathematics from a renowned university. I have great interest in science, especially mathematics as it is all about dealing with numbers. Professionally I have taught in a college as an Associate professor and currently working as a freelancer tutor, helping students in making them understand different concepts of mathematics, clearing their doubts. So far, I am making all the possible efforts to increase students inclination towards mathematics

Teaching methodology
Mathematics is not a theoretical subject, so sometimes I make use of power point presentations and videos to explain a particular concept. As I believe visuals have more impactful, and this aid in better understanding than listening. Moreover, I plan my sessions keeping in mind a student's requirements and targets. Some students require more practise and more attention towards certain topics, so sessions are planned according to their pace. My priority is to have an interactive session in which a student asks multiple questions , clears one’s doubts . This ensures that pupil is able to understand in a better way. Also, I make sure that a student gets proper attention and is willing to learn more. My main teaching methodology is to increase students inclination towards this subject and remove their fear of mathematics. Apart from this, I am also helping students in completing their assignments and homework. They are able to complete their work assessments within the given time period

AP concepts taught by Prangna
The Tutor and Student reviewed key concepts in mathematics, including function transformations, identifying polynomial functions, and finding local/absolute maxima and minima. They practiced identifying these features on graphs and discussed strategies for solving related problems, with the student planning to take a quiz after the session.
Graph Transformations
Polynomials
Local and Absolute Extrema
Number of Zeros
The Tutor and Student worked through various problems related to trigonometry, focusing on calculating reference angles and solving trigonometric equations. They covered both degree and radian measures and practiced identifying solutions within specific intervals. The session concluded with planning for a review of these topics for an upcoming test.
Solving Trigonometric Equations
Quadrants and Angle Properties
Radians and Degrees Conversion
Reference Angles
The student and tutor reviewed concepts related to differential equations, focusing on separation of variables, integration techniques, and solving for the constant of integration. They worked through several practice problems and discussed strategies for identifying when to use methods like u-substitution.
Separation of Variables
Integration Techniques
Slope Fields
Logarithmic and Exponential Functions in Differential Equations
The student and tutor reviewed the definition and characteristics of polynomials, including monomials, binomials, and trinomials, and their degrees. They practiced writing polynomials in standard form and performed addition and subtraction operations on polynomial expressions.
