Teaching methodology
Mathematics is not a theoretical subject, so sometimes I make use of power point presentations and videos to explain a particular concept. As I believe visuals have more impactful, and this aid in better understanding than listening. Moreover, I plan my sessions keeping in mind a student's requirements and targets. Some students require more practise and more attention towards certain topics, so sessions are planned according to their pace. My priority is to have an interactive session in which a student asks multiple questions , clears one’s doubts . This ensures that pupil is able to understand in a better way. Also, I make sure that a student gets proper attention and is willing to learn more. My main teaching methodology is to increase students inclination towards this subject and remove their fear of mathematics. Apart from this, I am also helping students in completing their assignments and homework. They are able to complete their work assessments within the given time period

AP concepts taught by Prangna
The tutor and student reviewed various methods for calculating the area of triangles. This included standard formulas, using trigonometry to find missing dimensions, and applying Heron's formula when all sides are known. The student practiced solving problems using these different approaches, with a plan to focus more on trigonometry due to it being a new topic.
Area of a Triangle (Basic)
Area of an Equilateral Triangle
Heron's Formula
Area using Trigonometry (Two Sides and Included Angle)
The student and tutor reviewed comparison symbols (greater than, less than, equal to) and practiced multiplication facts and multi-digit multiplication. They then applied these concepts to solve comparison problems through various exercises and math games, including a desired 'dolphin game'.
Multiplication Tables Mastery
Basic Arithmetic Operations: Addition
Subtraction
and Multiplication
Comparing Numbers: Greater Than and Less Than
The Tutor and Student reviewed integral calculus, focusing on the u-substitution method with various examples including polynomials, logarithms, trigonometric, and exponential functions. The student practiced applying the method to simplify and solve integration problems, and homework was assigned for further practice.
Integration of Trigonometric Functions

U-Substitution Method
Basic Integration Rules
Half-Angle Identities
Pythagorean Identity for Finding Cosine/Sine
Tangent Half-Angle Formula
Double Angle Identities
The tutor and student worked through trigonometric identity problems, specifically focusing on double and half-angle formulas for sine and cosine. They practiced calculating exact values of trigonometric functions using these identities and angle subtraction methods, and discussed applying the cosine half-angle identity.
Double Angle Identities for Sine
Double Angle Identities for Cosine
Half-Angle Identity for Cosine
Finding Exact Values of Trigonometric Expressions
The tutor and student worked on converting fractions to percentages and vice versa, using various examples and word problems. They practiced applying these concepts through interactive games and exercises, with plans for homework focusing on word problems and fraction-to-percentage conversions.
