Teaching methodology
Mathematics is not a theoretical subject, so sometimes I make use of power point presentations and videos to explain a particular concept. As I believe visuals have more impactful, and this aid in better understanding than listening. Moreover, I plan my sessions keeping in mind a student's requirements and targets. Some students require more practise and more attention towards certain topics, so sessions are planned according to their pace. My priority is to have an interactive session in which a student asks multiple questions , clears one’s doubts . This ensures that pupil is able to understand in a better way. Also, I make sure that a student gets proper attention and is willing to learn more. My main teaching methodology is to increase students inclination towards this subject and remove their fear of mathematics. Apart from this, I am also helping students in completing their assignments and homework. They are able to complete their work assessments within the given time period

AP concepts taught by Prangna
The tutor and student reviewed the concept of quadrants in trigonometry and the "After School To College" mnemonic for determining the signs of trigonometric ratios. They practiced identifying angles on the unit circle and calculating intermediate angle values using specific strategies, with plans to continue practice in a future session due to the student feeling unwell.
The Unit Circle
Quadrants and Trigonometric Signs (ASTC Rule)
Special Angles on the Unit Circle
Domain and Range of Exponential Functions
Asymptotes and Y-Intercepts
Exponential Growth and Decay
The Tutor and Student reviewed and practiced differentiation rules, including the power rule, chain rule, derivatives of trigonometric and exponential functions, product rule, and quotient rule. The Student worked through various examples, and they planned for the Student to practice given homework questions and bring any challenging problems to the next session.
Chain Rule
Product Rule
Quotient Rule
Derivatives of Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
The tutor and student worked on solving various types of algebraic equations, primarily focusing on two-step equations and progressively more complex forms involving fractions. The student practiced applying inverse operations and handling negative signs and fractions to isolate the unknown variable, with the plan to continue reinforcing these skills.
Handling Negative Variables
Fractions in Equations
Equations with Distribution
Solving Two-Step Equations
The Tutor and Student reviewed trigonometric identities and quadrant analysis, followed by practicing function transformations involving shifts and reflections. They concluded by discussing polynomial functions, their properties, and symmetry. The student has upcoming quizzes and homework in these areas.
Trigonometric Identities
Quadrants and Signs of Trigonometric Functions
Graph Transformations
Even and Odd Functions
The student and tutor reviewed several math topics including perimeter, unit conversions (meters/centimeters, liters/milliliters), rounding, basic arithmetic, fractions, and time-telling. They worked through numerous practice problems and word problems to prepare for an upcoming exam.
