Motivational Calculus lessons with practical support

The session focused on practicing one and two-step word problems involving basic arithmetic operations. The student worked on identifying the necessary steps to solve for unknowns in different scenarios. As homework, the student was asked to memorize the table of seven.

The Tutor and Student worked on word problems focusing on multiplication, division, and converting decimals to fractions. The Student practiced identifying the correct operation and applying it to real-world scenarios. The Tutor suggested memorizing multiplication tables to prepare for future lessons on prime factorization, HCF, and LCM.

Nidhi and the student practiced converting between different units of measurement (kilograms to grams, liters to milliliters, meters to centimeters, etc.) and expressing the ratios of these measurements in their simplest forms. The student worked through several examples, converting units and simplifying ratios. The session covered length, mass and volume measurements.

Nidhi and Ranch reviewed the concepts of radius, diameter, and circumference of circles, including calculating circumference when given the radius or diameter, and vice versa. They also covered circumference of semicircles. Nidhi assigned practice questions on circumference for Ranch to review before the next session.

Nidhi and Ranch practiced solving linear equations and simplifying ratios, including finding equivalent ratios and working with word problems. Nidhi introduced prime factorization to find the highest common factor and simplify ratios. Ranch was assigned homework to practice HCF and prime factorization in preparation for their next session.

Nidhi and Jora reviewed integers, number lines, and rules for addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Jora practiced evaluating expressions and applying the rules for integers. Jora was assigned to redo all the questions from the session and review the properties of integers for the next meeting.
