Master Data Whisperer: Interactive Learning with a Practical Twist!

Heya! My name is Lisa and I am a digital nomad and freelance educator specialising in Python, machine learning, and AI. With a strong background in academia, I provide expert supervision to university students studying AI and offer professional training to working professionals in fields like data analysis, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), time series, and more. My passion for teaching emerged during my PhD studies, where I discovered the joy of helping others navigate the complexities of these subjects. My passion led to a career as an educator, and after spending some time in academia, I've decided to take my skills beyond the classroom, travelling the world and continuing my work as a remote instructor. After finding the UK a bit too cold, I relocated to Southeast Asia, where I continue to guide and mentor students and professionals alike, offering master classes, personalised training sessions, coursework and dissertation help and whatever else my students need. When not in front of the computer you can find my cruising through the beautiful islands of Thailand on my bike, long-distance swimming in the ocean, or doing cross fit. For Python and R, my lectures come in the form of Jupyter notebooks, which students can easily upload to Google Colab. This approach removes any technical barriers, making my lessons super beginner-friendly—no software installation required. I focus on building practical skills in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling by assigning projects with real-world datasets. Through these projects, students gain hands-on experience in data cleaning, imputation of missing values, feature engineering, data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning model development. My ultimate goal is to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills needed to excel in their academic and professional careers.
