About your tutor
My name is Gina Lee and I am a 4th year student at Cal State San Marcos as a Biological Science major with a concentration in Physiology. I am expected to graduate this May 2024 with my Bachelors degree and then enrolling in a Masters program for Marine Biology. My area of expertise is mainly general and upper division biology courses as well as organic chemistry 1 and general biochemistry. I do have to mention that it has been awhile since I've reviewed general biology so please send me a list of topics you're struggling with before the session!

My teaching methodology usually consists of asking students the key concepts/background info that they already know and then stating the concepts they need help understanding. Based on this information, I would go through the key concepts in manageable chunks and in an 'easy-to-digest' way while also asking questions throughout the process. Additionally, I would send them a summarized outline of the major topics we went over as well as practice problems with the answer key attached if necessary. A great learning experience that keeps students engaged and self-assured in their ability to study is what I constantly strive for!
