Hello there! I'm Kelvin le Roux, a passionate Mechanical Engineer and tutor. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a strong background in Physics and Maths. I have 4 years experience in Mechanical design engineering and CAD which enables me to give my students a unique real world understanding of their subjects. I am passionate about the mechanical design process and all steps involved, from a foundational level of maths and physics to understanding manufacturing processes and designing with these manufacturing processes in mind is my specialty. The knowledge I've built up in the Mechanical design industry is also backed by practical experience in the fields of 3D printing, sheet metal and general fabrication, welding, casting, injection moulding, machining and CNC machining. My teaching philosophy revolves around practical application and a real world understanding of the topic. I believe in creating an interactive learning environment where students actively participate in the learning process.
