The Student practiced improvising riffs between chords using the pentatonic scale and learned about slash chords and chord inversions. The student was assigned to practice the pentatonic scale exercise, memorize slash chords, and practice triad inversions on the fourth string. The Tutor will send additional sheet music to practice reading.

The Student practiced chord progressions and arpeggios using these new techniques. The homework is to practice the third line of triads on the provided sheet and to focus on applying them to playing.

The Student learned about sus chords and ninth chords on the guitar, exploring their theory and practical application.
