Immerse in Language: AP Spanish with Passion and Culture

I have a Master's in Specialised Translation (Spanish-English) from the University of Westminster. I have also lived and studied in Madrid, which gave me full cultural immersion into Spanish culture. I have 3 years of full-time experience as a tutor and part-time lecturer, in addition to 13 years of part-time experience as a translator and editor. In addition to Spanish, I am fluent in English, French, Mandarin Chinese (Simplified) and Mauritian Creole, and I can understand spoken Hindi.

I adapt my pedagogy to each student's profile: their age, level of education and field of work, native or strongest academic language, hobbies, etc. I have also worked with neurodivergent (e.g. autistic) students and can adapt my pedagogy to them. My classes are highly interactive. I won't be the only one talking, for I will keep asking you questions and encouraging you to use Spanish actively in class. I am very patient and take the time to help you with any aspect of the language, however small, that you are struggling with. After each class, I send detailed class notes to every student.
