My name is Rohan Marcus Deans. I am a statistician by qualification and tutor to students as a mathematical enthusiast with a passion. I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Loyola College - Madras University, Chennai. I persevere to deliver sound statistical concepts specifically tailored to the student’s requirement to ensure better understanding and clarity in approach. My aim is to simplify complex statistical problems that students from other domains require assistance with. I tutor students in AP Statistics and help them with test prep. I make use of basic traditional methods to convey conceptual knowledge and a strong theoretical understanding in order to adapt to practical applications as required. I am always approachable and a keen listener. Most sessions with me would consist of a brief evaluation of the student’s background followed by potential solutions to resolve their requirements and a detailed run-through of the the statistical concept and analysis on various platforms like R, SPSS, Python and other programming languages, which enable the student to understand and meet their objective halfway even before the session is complete.
